All warm water at Villa Olivia Poolside is generated by a solar boiler on the roof of the villa.
Unfortunately (of maybe fortunately…), our property manager discovered that a lot of water was coming from the roof, on an otherwise bright sunshiny day. Further inspection revealed that the solar boiler had broken down after 12 years of reliably delivering warm water.
The supplier of solar boilers on Bonaire did not have new ones on stock, and the ordered ones had not been confirmed by the manufacturer. A brief call the the neighboring Curacao proved to be the answer, they had them in stock. Payment and transport to Bonaire were arranged swiftly, and the new solar boiler was installed ready for our new guests.
